Just a quickie!

Ok just a quick post because there is lots of housework to do and the girls are both napping at the same time which never ever happens lol
I've used Laura's awesome sketch #38 over at 2S4Y and combined it with day 247 over at 365Cards which is ad inspired. Gloria picked a beauty to work with and I tried to stick with the same colours. I'm also entering at Bizzy Bec's Creatilicious Challenges as all these papers (which just might be kiwi kiss and the orange in-colour from stampin' up, chestnut american crafts and that mustard colour I have no idea) were scraps from my cut-offs box and I made the flower with a sizzlit and my big kick so hope that counts :) I inked around the edges with stampin' up basic brown and the pearls come from the warehouse, the last few on the sheet I've been waiting to use them for a while so I can open a new one :)
I printed the sentiment on my computer it reads 'its the little things that make life big'
Thanks for stopping by and if you would like to leave a comment I sure would appreciate it and will return the visit xx Happy blogging :)

pin-up for 365 cards

Good evening!
Over at 365 Cards the challenge for Day 240 is to use a stick pin or safety pin with beads and/or charm/s on your card. I've never tried this before but love the extra bit of detail it adds :)

Use Your Stash ~rub-ons~

This week at Use Your Stash! the challenge is to 'dig deep' into your stash. As I only started crafting this year, I dont have heaps of stuff, mainly papers and buttons and ribbons. So I decided to use rub ons. I have had a few rub ons in my stash for ages, but I'm always hesitant to use them because they are so pretty or just dont go with what ever else I'm using. These ones are heidi grace 'reegan's closet'.
So here's what I've made:

And if you're wondering what the LLi are I only just noticed them! I believe that is Aimee's contribution, she was fiddling around with them last night. I still need to date it, and will do my journalling when I've scrapped all photos from the day :)

Please pop over to Use Your Stash! and check out the fab work from the DT and see what you can come up with for this challenge!! Thanks for stopping by, Happy blogging xx

Use Your Stash

Good morning, I totally forgot to post this one on my blog! It's a LO for the Oct 19th challenge over at Use Your Stash! the challenge was scallops, stripes and hand-written journalling. It's a photo of John and I just hanging out at home on a Saturday night having a few drinks and listening to our favourite CD's.
I've used american crafts cardstock in coffee, the striped paper is from kaiser, white chipboard titling and buttons from beutron.
I've got one more challenge to complete as Guest DT over at Use Your Stash, please pop over and check it out!

The first of many...

Ok before I head off to bed I thought I would leave you with a couple of wedding photos from last Saturday. These are just a couple taken with my little camera, haven't got the professional ones back yet.
My two fantastic bridesmaids Debbie and Liz (my sister)
Me in the Limo on the way there (not feeling nervous at all!)
Phoebe, Chris (my brother) and me at the end of the night.
John and I in the Limo heading to Lakes. That lipstick on his face is NOT from me lol but 2 drunk auntys who wanted to share the love hehe. Even with the lip stick I still love this photo.
Well thats it! will pop some more up as I get them. Thanks for stopping by and any comments appreciated xx
