Use Your Stash ~rub-ons~

This week at Use Your Stash! the challenge is to 'dig deep' into your stash. As I only started crafting this year, I dont have heaps of stuff, mainly papers and buttons and ribbons. So I decided to use rub ons. I have had a few rub ons in my stash for ages, but I'm always hesitant to use them because they are so pretty or just dont go with what ever else I'm using. These ones are heidi grace 'reegan's closet'.
So here's what I've made:

And if you're wondering what the LLi are I only just noticed them! I believe that is Aimee's contribution, she was fiddling around with them last night. I still need to date it, and will do my journalling when I've scrapped all photos from the day :)

Please pop over to Use Your Stash! and check out the fab work from the DT and see what you can come up with for this challenge!! Thanks for stopping by, Happy blogging xx

Use Your Stash

Good morning, I totally forgot to post this one on my blog! It's a LO for the Oct 19th challenge over at Use Your Stash! the challenge was scallops, stripes and hand-written journalling. It's a photo of John and I just hanging out at home on a Saturday night having a few drinks and listening to our favourite CD's.
I've used american crafts cardstock in coffee, the striped paper is from kaiser, white chipboard titling and buttons from beutron.
I've got one more challenge to complete as Guest DT over at Use Your Stash, please pop over and check it out!

The first of many...

Ok before I head off to bed I thought I would leave you with a couple of wedding photos from last Saturday. These are just a couple taken with my little camera, haven't got the professional ones back yet.
My two fantastic bridesmaids Debbie and Liz (my sister)
Me in the Limo on the way there (not feeling nervous at all!)
Phoebe, Chris (my brother) and me at the end of the night.
John and I in the Limo heading to Lakes. That lipstick on his face is NOT from me lol but 2 drunk auntys who wanted to share the love hehe. Even with the lip stick I still love this photo.
Well thats it! will pop some more up as I get them. Thanks for stopping by and any comments appreciated xx

3 P's

This lay-out is for the second October challenge over at Use Your Stash. They want to see what you can do with purple, polkadots and paint!
I've got polka dots on my petals and photo border and title
A deep purple card stock base (which I thought went really well with Charlottes purple jumper)
I sponged some white paint I borrowed from my 4-year olds stash hehe.
This photo is Charlotte when we went camping (her first time in a tent) and we got hardly any sleep. Purple is such a great colour to work with! Why don't you pop over and see what you can some up with!?

Playing catch-up

Here is a card a created for the first challenge at Use Your Stash for October. I've got
Oval
Chipboard (number 5) and
Ten buttons
The challenge this week is to use supplies for the letter O C and T... its easy! pop over to UYS, dig into your stash and see what you can come up with!

I'M BACK!!!

Hello everyone! I feel like I've been gone for so so long! when realistically it's only been a little over 2 weeks... And I've got so much to share! but I wont do it all in one post lol... oh no... or you may get bored too quickly! And I have to play catch up for the fabulous Ladies over at Use Your Stash, (please pop over and check out the fun challenges!) I accepted a position as guest DT for October and I have let them down :( I feel absolutely terrible! I thought I was super organised for the wedding and would have plenty of spare time to complete the challenges before we went away.... I was wrong :(
before I post my creations for their October challenges I will show you the bonbonniere that doubled as place cards that my sister and I made 3 days before the wedding... Certainly celery pillow boxes with ribbons, and chocolate hearts inside. Anyway here they are and I'll be back soon with some more stuff.
Thanks for sticking around and I'll have some wedding photos for you soon too if you're interested ;) Happy blogging xx

Just a couple of cards

Good morning, it feels likes too long since I posted my last card. I'd like to apologise if I'm not around much over the next couple of weeks... my sister is coming down tomorrow for the week, it will be great to see her... then only nine more sleeps until the big day, and then honeymoon... more like a holiday than a honeymoon I think :) we're taking the girls and going to bright, one of our favourite holiday places :) I'll be sure to take lots of photos... which reminds me I have to make a few things for my guest DT spot over at Use Your Stash for next month!!
But first I have two cards to show you, the first is for a 3rd birthday (I got a cuttlekids set of number dies on ebay so expect to see more of these) and I'm entering it over at 365 Cards Day 206 Tuesday Triplets ~ 3 ribbons, 3 butterflies and 3 pearls on the butterflies :) used my swiss dots embossing folder and the number 3 is cut from stampin' ups in colour... the pink one lol i forget what it's called!
And a 16th birthday card for monochromatic mania over at Our Creative Corner.
Well thanks for stopping by, I'm off to whip up a few more cards for Julie and then onto housework before my sister gets here tomorrow :) Happy blogging xx
