Hi just stopping in to share a card I made using the colours from OTWC #41
Challenge will close at 10 pm PST on Jan. 20th!

and I combined it with Critter sketch challenge #47... entries close in around 9 hours from now lol

I found this sketch challenge blog thru DJ's blog she has some lovely cards you can see her blog here!

And here is my card:

All cardstock is from Stampin' up, so is the sentiment. The little owl is basic grey, rhinestones from kaisercraft, button and twine from my stash, and I also used my cuttlebug embossing folder and label 4 nestys.

I also have a card based very loosely on the Mojo Monday sketch from last week...

Thanks for stopping by xx

{for my sweetheart}

Good morning!

I went to a Stampin' up card night last night and made 3 little 'lovey' cards lol two of them used the sentiment 'just for you' and this one says... happy valentines day :) it's for my sweetheart John.

The colours we used were black cheery cobbler riding hood red and vanilla or white.
I wanted to make something fairly simple for John, he's a simple kinda guy :)
I love this little birdie, did some fussy cutting and popped him up on some dimensionals, and the base is a 4x4 rather than my usual A5 folded in half.

I used the fantastic sketch over at Cardabilities this week, if you have time please pop over and have a go yourself, there are heaps of great prizes this month and the sketches are awesome!

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you all have a fabulous and crafty weekend xx take care!

My girls have been crafting :)

Well I printed out this awesome sketch from Cardabilities

so I could think about what I was going to do while I was tidying up, and Aimee asked if she could make a card for Nana because her birthday was written on the calender, so I looked around at the kids challenge sites and found that Kona Kid Krafters want to see something new.

6 year old Aimee's card uses my new spellbinders butterflies and new snow flake die from die-namics @ the stamp spot online store, and my new lables 11 die cuts..

2 and a half year old Charlottes card also uses my new butterlies, snowflakes and new star punch. she really likes to layer things, its funny to watch she gets so excited.

School holidays are pretty boring when it's wet outside, so we made some jelly for after tea and now they are trying to agree on a movie to watch together... I think I hear pinocchio.

Thanks for stopping by, enjoy your day xx
Goodmorning! just stoppping in to share a card I made last night using the sketch from

they are offering a prize of $25 gift voucher so pop over and check it out!!

And here is my card:

Well thats it from me for now, hope you all have a great day! xx

a little thankyou

Hi crafty friends, just stopping in to link up this thankyou card I just finished off for a certain someone who may or may not be reading this post... I had originally intended to send a Christmas card but alot of mine never made it to the post office. So I am sending this one with the little Christmas gift instead :)

I based it on the awesome sketch #97 over at Card Patterns this week.

I used some lovely Octobter Afternoon paper, paper roses and the lacey bit all come from The Stamp Spot online store, the stamp is Stampin' up and ribbon is Martha Stewart. I also used cuttlebug swiss dots folder, corner rounder punch and the new label nestys that the lovely Marcia sent me for Christmas. Thankyou dear, I can see I will be reaching for these alot in the near future!

Well a small 6 year old girl is calling me to play monopoly... housework will once again have to wait :) but I don't mind lol kids grow up too fast not to stop and play with them.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you're all enjoying a fabulous (and crafty!) start to the week xx

Hello crafty friends! I've got a card for the new challenge over at ECP to share with you, this fortnight the challenge is to use up your old stash... and don't we all have some! I didn't have to look hard to find this Basic Grey paper I bought at least 6 months ago for making boys cards... and I've never used it. And the brads came in a card kit I got maybe 12 months ago? Well no time like the present!

Use up you old stuff and link it up over at ECP to be in the draw for a great prize as we are sponsored by Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps and More!

I've also used the sketch over at Mojo Monday...

lots of inspiring work from the DT there too, pop over and have a look.

Well thats it from me this morning, enjoy your day xx

it's been a while...

It's been a while since I've played along in a blog hop, and over at Charisma they have one going on right now! So many prizes... do pop over and have a look!

I thought I'd start by making a card for their birthday celebrations challenge.

I've used Cardabilities sketch #19 - so many inspiring designs from the DT pop over and check them out!

I found my colour inspiration over at Colour Throwdown - tricky combo but the DT have made some awesome cards, check them out!

I had no artichoke so used some old olive instead. I used a vanilla cardstock base, and this oh-so-lovely lace is from a kaisercraft pack and can be purchased from The Stamp Spot online store... and it comes white, but to match with my card stock I gave it a little spritz with my gold glimmer mist. Perfect!

I hope you're all having a wonderful weekend and can sneak in some crafty time too! Take care and I'll see you back here soon xx

yellow congrats card

Good evening!
I have 2 things to share this evening, the first being my card:

This card uses some lovely October afternoon paper, kaisercraft lace, kaisercraft paper flowers, rhinestones and lettering all available from The Stamp Spot online store... Marcia sent me the lace in my latest DT pack and it really is sooo much nicer in person... definatley too nice to hoard :)

I used the delightful yellow damask wallpaper from The Stamp Spot ning site challenge for my colour inspiration...

The sketch is from Dec 30th over at Cardabilities

and I'm also entering it at Creative Card Crew for the theme new beginnings... you congratulate someone for something new... a baby, engagement, wedding, graduation etc etc...

and the second thing to share is that spider I mentioned in my last post... the one making a web on my heat gun because it's been a while since I've used it... and it's been a while since I tidied up in here...

this year will be the year I get organised (and stay organised!)
thanks for stopping by, take care xx

pretty in pink

Good evening!
I hope you are all enjoying the new year so far! I have plans.. big plans... plans for getting organised. This will be the year I get on top of things :)
I really am going to have to stop procrastinating and clean up in my craft area soon... Saw a spider making a web on my heat gun last night...
but onto my card :)

I've used the inspiring sketch from CPS, the paper, felty flowers, brads and stamps come from stampin' up, the doily and rhine stones are from The Stamp Spot online store, and I had my sewing machine out today making a start on some dresses to put in my etsy store (reversible size 8 party dress is what I made today) so I thought I'd do a little sewing on my card, as I love the detail it adds.

Ok well I see a new challenge over on The Stamp Spot ning site... I'll be back with my take on it tomorrow! Thanks for stopping by and take care xx
