Just a quick one from me this morning!
Christmas is coming up quickly and over at The Stamp Spot, Michelle challenged the designers to create some Christmas tags to share with our visitors on the blog. I have shared my first 3 there today, and my other 3 will go live tomorrow.

Here is a peek at one of my favourites, but you will have to head over to the blog to check out the rest. Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend so far! x

~New Sketch at ICS!~

Hi!
Scheduling this to post later on this evening because I have shopping day tomorrow and wont have time to post once it goes live on the ICS Challenge blog. Hopefully it has already gone live otherwise you will be seeing the sketch early lol.

We have a great sponsor this week Patties Creations Digital Stamps

who is offering 3 digi stamps for the randomly picked winner. Some of the ladies have used some of Patties images on their cards, I had already finished mine before I saw the images, but they are lovely.

Here is this weeks fabulous sketch from ICS designed by Susie

and here is my take on the sketch.

The colour inspiration comes from The Stamp Spot monthly challenge (November)

and there is a Christmas tag prize pack for the winner.

Well thanks for stopping by today, I hope you can play along with the great new Sketch at ICS and the Inspiration Challenge at The Stamp Spot.

Take care x

~mojo monday meets the stamp spot~

Good evening crafty friends, lovely Saturday night for sharing a card I worked on this afternoon :)

I've used the sketch over at Mojo Monday this week for my layout, and colour inspiration comes from the fab cake photo over at The Stamp Spot monthly challenge.

and here is my card from a few different angles. Ive been taking my photos of cards outside, as the spot I like in the bathroom is now shaded by the Japanese maple tree outside the window.

For this card I used rhinestones, dainty doily duo die-namics, perfect petal trio die-namics, cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder, carl corner rounder, McGill leaf punch, Stampin' up sentiment, rhinestone brad and inks in basic grey, so saffron and baja breeze.

I am so glad you could stop by today, please leave a quick comment so I know you have been, and I will return the visit soon. take care x

~ICS #139, card pattens, inkspirations and more washi tape...

Good morning! I am stopping in to share a card for the new sketch this week at the ICS challenge blog. here is the sketch:

and here is a Christmas card I made using 'a snow scene' digi image as we are lucky to be sponsored by Digi Doodles this week! I'm not confident with colouring in, so I sponged around the image with old olive ink and used some lovely frosted lace stickles for the snow. The snow flakes are from the MFT die-namics range.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I've also got a couple of cards using the Washi Tape available from Sawyers Place. The tape I have used is from the Ophelia collection, but there is a huge range of colours and patterns available HERE!
Last but definitely not least I have a card combining the wonderful sketch at Card Patterns this week, and found my colour inspiration over at Inkspirations Challenges.
here is my card!
Thanks for stopping by today, I would love to hear what you think about my cards and hope to return the visit soon!!
Take care x
~snow cards
Hello again, 2 more Christmas cards to share, both based on the colour challenge #142 over at Crafty Creations Challenge. Purple, Green Silver and Snow... I used a different shade of purple for each card.
The bracket tab, snow flakes and stars are both cut with MFT die-namics, available at The Stamp Spot online store along with the silver rhinestones and white embossing powder.
Ribbons from my stash, cuttlebug swiss dots and snowflakes embossing folders.. stampin up for the cardstock and sentiments... and my carl corner rounder. I think that covers everything!
Thanks for stopping by today, hopefully I find some time over the weekend to make some more Christmas cards :) take care xx
Card Patterns meets the Ribbon Reel :)
Hello friends, back to share another card combining the oh-so-happy colour combo from The Ribbon Reel this fortnight and the tiny-bit-tricky sketch from Card Patterns.
Sentiments, pattern paper and inks all from Stampin' up, Ribbon and rhinestones from The Stamp Spot online store.
I dont usually make more than one of the same card, but this one was quick and simple and I can see myself making a pack of 5 or so to put for sale at Johns workplace :) might even do another 5 with a differnt colour combo.
Thanks for stopping by today, I appreciate you taking the time to see what I've been up to!
Take care x
Wonderful Wednesday...
well... every day is wonderful, really. Don't have to look far for things to be greatful for :) I am so lucky on so many levels. And the rest... well today I wont let it get me down :)
Im here to share a card based on the CPS sketch #242 this week, and I have combined it with the lovely inspiration photo over at The Shabby Tearoom. Deb is sponsoring the prize there this week, lots of yummy shabby vintage seam binding!
Ive used a combination of products for this card, free pattern paper that came with a card making magazine, MFT die-namics for the sentiment bracket tab, perfect petal trio and heart. The leaf punch is McGills and the stamp and sentiment both stampin' up. I sponged around the edges, cherry cobbler for the sentiment, pumpkin pie for the flourish stamp and so saffron on the flowers petals.
Thanks for stopping by today, I really appreciate your lovely comments and hope to get back and return the visit soon! take care x
ICS sketch and new WASHI TAPE
Good evening friends, I'm just logging on to share my card for this weeks sketch #138 at the ICS challenge blog. We are sponsored by the Some Odd Girl company this week and the winner will get 4 digi stamps! Awesome!
and here is my card, just a little bit festive don't you think?
And here is a card using Washi Tape from the Ophelia Collection.
Image of The Ophelia Collection - 4 rolls of Japanese Washi Tape - Black & White
 You can see a large range of colours and patterns over at http://www.sawyersplace.com/. This tape is similar to masking tape, easy to tear and semi-see thru as you can see where the paper shows thru where it overlaps on my card. I am looking forward to sharing more cards using this fabulous tape with you soon!
Thanks for stopping by, and take care x
