~banners and bling, with folding and wings! Thankyou card~

Made a few cards this afternoon thanks to my awesome husband John making tea and playing with the kids. I snuck off to my craft desk and made 6 cards! Here is one I would love to share, so happy with how it turned out!

I punched some 1 1/4 inch circles and folded in half over the twine to create the banner. Fussy cut the butterflies and added some bling to their little bodies... and sponged around the edge of the pretty pattern paper. Finished it off with a thankyou sentiment stamp :)

I'd like to enter it in the banners and flags challenge at Cas-ual Fridays (woops they like you to keep it under 4 challenges combined I missed that bit until I linked sorry ladies x)
try a different fold challenge over at Speedy Fox and Friends
and make your own embellishments at The Pink Elephant
and the bling it up challenge 231 at CCT
things with wings challenge at The Poodles Parlour
and last but certainly not least.... try a new technique at CardMakinMama's

I will be back tomorrow with my DT project for the new challenge at Feeling Sketchy, I hope you can pop back and check it out :)
take care

~new card for the stamp spot monthly challenge!~

Good morning friends!
Here to share my third card this month using the challenge spots at The Stamp Spot blog!

I'm also entering in the flowers challenge at Crafty Sentiments Designs

and the birthday challenge at Sassy Cheryl's Challenge blog

See my polka dots on the brad? The leaves and the colour orange pretty obvious :)
I have used the royal leaves and flower MFT die-naimcs from the store.
I sprayed the flowers with glimmer mist and scrunched them lightly before poking the brad thru the middle.
I love the confetti white cardstock from SU... sad to see it on the retired list :(
but I did manage to order 2 extra packs before they sold out.

Well that's it for me, have a sick 4yr old and a snotty clingy almost 2 year old to share my day with :)

Looking forward to the weekend :)
thanks for stopping by today, take care xx

The 3 die-cuts I used are MFT die-namics rolled rose, royal leaves and the bracket tab. Tag is from TSS but sold out now, and the sentiments are stampin' up for the top and hero arts for the happy birthday. I think thats about it!

~ paper flowers and a bit of bling! ~

Good evening, another card to share as I mentioned in my last post.

This one is for the paper flowers challenge this month at Unstampabelles
and also for the bling + nature challenge at OCC

both blogs have some amazing inspiration from their DT ladies, be sure to pop across and check them out!

I have used kaisercraft rhinestone strips, rhinestone brads I got on ASGS and die-namics perfect petals with some scraps of stampin up paper and curled the edges slightly.

Michelle at The Stamp Spot has a huge range of MFT die-namics in the store and has amazing prices, if there is something out of stock you are after let her know as she orders in on a regular basis :)

Left it without a sentiment and could be used for a few different occasions.

Thanks for stopping by today, feeling rather tired so might hit the hay since my darling girls are all sleeping, we have been playing musical beds with the almost-2 and 4 yr olds for a few weeks now and lack of sleep is so draining on mind and body.

Lollipop Ladies meets CPS 276

Hi friends

just a quick stop to share a card I made following this weeks sketch at CPS

and I was inspired by these Yellow bananas from The Lollipop Ladies this fortnight :)

I got the bird in the reed stamp from a facebook group called Aussie Scrappers Garage Sale...
if you are an Aussie and have excess paper craft products like paper, stamps, ink, embellishments, ribbon.... etc etc etc you would like to sell, request to join and make an album with your photos, add prices and postage prices and wait for someone to comment sold... its so addictive tho lol... I have bought much more than I have sold :)

Oh I suppose I should share a piccy of my card too hey :) almost published without adding it hehe

thanks for stopping by today :)
take care xx
