Lollipop Ladies meets CPS 276

Hi friends

just a quick stop to share a card I made following this weeks sketch at CPS

and I was inspired by these Yellow bananas from The Lollipop Ladies this fortnight :)

I got the bird in the reed stamp from a facebook group called Aussie Scrappers Garage Sale...
if you are an Aussie and have excess paper craft products like paper, stamps, ink, embellishments, ribbon.... etc etc etc you would like to sell, request to join and make an album with your photos, add prices and postage prices and wait for someone to comment sold... its so addictive tho lol... I have bought much more than I have sold :)

Oh I suppose I should share a piccy of my card too hey :) almost published without adding it hehe

thanks for stopping by today :)
take care xx

Jess D designed it as a lovely scrapbook sketch as it is the last Monday of the month, but if you are short on time this week feel free to make a card instead... 3 of our design team members have! And Annmaree and I both used buttons, the same image and stripey paper! Great minds think alike? I think so! LOL :)
Here is my card
And this is the last week to get your entries linked up to be in the draw for this months prize from our fabulous sponsor Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps!

Sparkle has kindly donated two wonderfully cute stamps for the winner, here they are -
Make sure you pop over to their online store and check out all the wonderful stamps they have available! They also have a store blog where the designers showcase all the new arrivals and also the old favourites, so be sure to pop past for some inspiration.

~ accordion fold flower celebrate card, and black and blue happy birthday card~

Just a quick post from me this morning :)

First a card to share for the current monthly challenge over at The Stamp Spot blog, the challenge spots this month are scallops, satin ribbon and the colour black.
here is what I came up with and you can find details about what I used in this post.

Next I have a card combining the sketch from CPS
This Week's Sketch (#273)

The colours from ColourQ

The theme from Unstampabelles - Celebration! it's their 1st birthday and they have 2 sponsored prizes, pop over and check it out! But remember... no ink or digital stamps allowed :) I pulled out my old adornit alphas for this one :)

For the accordion flowers I cut a strip of pattern paper 12inch x 1inch and scored every 1/4 inch, stuch the ends together, punched out a 1inch circle from some old packaging (thick and strong) and the accordion flower onto the circle with my hot glue gun. popped a button with some twine on top to finish it off :) love how it turned out!

Well thanks for stopping by today, heading into town now to see some friends who just got back from a 5 week holiday in Turkey visiting family. enjoy your weekend xxx

Check out the cool image I used, neat huh? I stamped him onto kraft cardstock and coloured him with my awesome new Tim Holtz distress markers, super happy with how it turned out since I'm not much of a colourer.. but I will learn :) the pattern cardstock circles are sassafrass lass from my stash, sentiment is hero arts stamped in Stampin' up cherry cobbler.
